Scoring an Event

After an event is complete, be sure that athletes shown are correct and that a time or mark has been entered for each.

If an athlete scratches or has no time, do distance or was disqualified, enter NT, NH, ND, SCR, DQ in the PLACE column of the event tab -- that is the PLACE column and not the time/mark column.

You may have identical marks. If you do they are highlighted in the time/mark column so that you can enter a second best effort to break the tie correctly. You break a tie in field events by entering the second best mark for a competitor at the bottom of the event tab right side window.

If you actually have a tie, you need to manually enter the place for the lower placed athlete(s) to leave them tied and actually divide the points. It will not tie people unless you do this. Instead it appears to randomly pick one between truly tied athletes.

Be aware that if you rescore the event you will again have to enter the places if you have a true tie.

Results Report After scoring an event you may publish results by hitting the results icon. The results that are created can be customized if you wish by hitting customize. For example you may wish to show non-finishers in the results. If you wish this to be a regular report, be sure to save it.
